You are cordially invited to attend The 2008 Tri-Country One-Day Symposium - Creating a Modern Housing Policy: A Legacy for Tomorrow's Leaders
For the first time ever, the bi-annual Tri-Country Conference includes a one-day symposium open to all persons interested in housing policies and programs in the UK, Canada, and the US. A project of the UK Chartered Institute of Housing, UK, the US National Association of Housing and Renewal Officials, and the Canadian Housing and Renewal Association, the Tri-Country Conference provides a forum for an open exchange of ideas and experiences on crucial housing issues.
CHRA is the host for the 2008 conference in Toronto, Ontario; Canada. This year's theme, "Creating a Modern Housing Policy: A Legacy for Tomorrow's Leaders", has particular resonance for all three countries as they face demographic changes and economic and political uncertainties . To help us shape the future of housing policy and understand the needs for tomorrow's leaders, we are encouraging youth delegates to participate. Sponsors are covering the costs of attendance for two youth delegates from each country.
Come join us in Toronto on October 14th, 2008 for the first day of the Tri-Country Conference when Dr Anne Golden, President and CEO of the Conference Board of Canada, will deliver the keynote Address. Presentations from leading international housing experts in the areas of governance, leadership, and finance will set the stage for an afternoon of discussion and information exchange.
Take advantage of the opportunity to share ideas with some of the top housing minds in the UK and the US.
