A diploma or better in Business Administration with a major in Marketing or Commerce would be preferred. Related education, experience in community development and background experience in working in a multi-cultural group setting would be an asset. The ideal candidate would also possess a background in developing and implementing programs that address the social and economic environment of the community; including the fields of training, health, social and cultural heritage. The position requires a creative, innovative and resilient individual with the ability to apply program management, implementation, and administration for community and economic development. The candidate must have a proven record of teamwork, and knowledge and experience in proposal writing, development of business plans, grant applications and fund raising. The candidate must possess excellent computer, analytical, organization and communication skills.
