PARO invites applications for the following position:
Project Coordinator
You will participate in an innovative and dynamic business development program for women, including Francophone/French-speaking and Métis women, in support of PARO’s mission to increase the economic independence of women and their families.
With Post Secondary Education in Business Administration or a related field, you have experience with business planning and operations, group training, coaching/counseling, and related areas. You are a team player, positive and self-motivated with the ability to speak and write in French. Experience working with Francophone and First Nations communities; knowledge of women’s issues, microfinance, and community economic development is a definite asset.
POSITION REQUIRES: that you hold a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance; be comfortable as a facilitator/presenter; have excellent communication and analytical skills; and an ability to accommodate competing demands while meeting deadlines.
WORKING AREA: working from Thunder Bay, Ontario, you must be willing to travel extensively in Northwestern and Northeastern Ontario.
This position is a fixed salary, based on a minimum of 40 hour per week.
