About the Position:
SCIC is recruiting a student for a Public Engagement Program Assistant position for the summer of 2012. Working with the SCIC Public Engagement Program Officer, duties will largely entail support for the WorldBeat Global Education Program.
Duration: Twelve weeks between June and August 31, 2012
Hours: Full Time (35 hours/week) between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. including some evenings and weekends
Remuneration: $14.47/ hour
To be eligible candidates must:
Be post-secondary or high school students aged 15 or older, legally entitled to work in Canada, enrolled as students at a secondary or post-secondary school or institution, and returning to school full-time pending completion of their employment. Students who will not be returning to school are not eligible under this program.
