Ralph Brown Community Centre
Is seeking a full time Centre Manager. The Centre Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the Ralph Brown Community Centre. Working closely with the volunteer board and local statutory sector and volunteer partners, the manager will work to ensure the Ralph Brown Community Centre is a vibrant. Well managed facility for local residents, tenants, those booking space and other center users. The Centre Manager will be responsible for clerical, administrative, reception, cleaning, maintenance and staff, volunteers and ensuring the building is safe and secure at all times.

- A commitment to community-run services and to provide equality of opportunity
- Must enjoy working with children and young people
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Customer service skills
- Confident and able to work on own initiative
- Able to work as part of a wider local team managing a community building and local services
- Able to set up and maintain operating systems and filing systems
- Able to maintain booking systems and databases
- Understanding of financial budgets and record keeping
- Able to work flexible hours-prioritizing needs of centre management
OTHER:
Able to work evenings and week-ends as agreed with the board and attend the center at short notice in order to maintain the safety and security of the building. Consent to a police record check and child abuse registry check. Ability to drive and current clean driving license would be an asset.
Education
- Educated to a reasonable standard
- Computer literate
