PARO invites applications for the following position:
Business Development Trainer
You will participate in a comprehensive mentoring, business coaching/counseling and training program designed to increase the economic independence and self-sufficiency of women and their families, including Aboriginal women, Francophone/French-speaking women, Immigrant women, older women and youth.
With Post Secondary Education in Business Administration or a related field, you have experience with business planning and operations, group training, coaching/counseling, and related areas. You are a team player, positive and self-motivated. The ability to speak and write in Ojibwe or Oji-Cree, and/or French; experience working with First Nations and Francophone communities; knowledge of women’s issues, microfinance, and community economic development are definite assets.
POSITION REQUIRES: that you hold a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance; be comfortable as a facilitator/presenter; have excellent communication and analytical skills; and an ability to accommodate competing demands while meeting deadlines.
WORKING AREA: working from Thunder Bay, Ontario, you must be willing to travel in Northwestern and Northeastern Ontario.
This position is a fixed salary, based on a minimum of 40 hour per week.
