This workshop is the second in a series of 2011/12 seminars focused on not-for- profit and charitable finance matters. It is designed primarily for Not-for-Profit Financial Managers, Bookkeepers and Finance Committee Members.
Participants will grow their knowledge in two primary areas:
- Fraud risk and IT and cash controls: We’ll look at fraud within a not-for-profit environment and how to protect against it including implementation of IT controls as well as cash controls to both mitigate risk as well as maximize cash available to support activities and ensuring cash resource are put to best use.
- IT issues that impact and drive your organization forward: This part of the session will cover the value of IT within not-for-profit organizations including the importance of having a real IT strategy and the right IT team mix.
