LITE (Local Investment Toward Employment) would like to assist you in your fundraising efforts. Our goal is to support long-term solutions to poverty in Winnipeg's inner city. Assisting local organizations in raising funds for your programs helps us achieve our goal.We have a limited number of queen-sized Star Blankets and Baby blankets and bags made by Northern Star Worker's Co-operative & Cree-Ations. If you would like one of these blankets for your fundraising activities, at no cost to you, please fill out and send us the short application form attached.
Eligibility Requirements:
Organizations wishing to apply for a Star Blanket must:
- Be able to demonstrate ACTIVE support for Community Economic Development (CED) principles (list of CED principles are at the end of the application)
- Have as a main organizational activity the provision of services/supports to people living on a low income
- Be a registered Canadian charity
