Evaluating Community Impact: Capturing and Making Sense of Community Outcomes

A Three-day Tamarack Learning Workshop

"Moving the needles" on community-wide issues requires cross-sector coordination and an engaged community. There are countless number of community change initiatives working on a diverse as early childhood development, health care, education, poverty and homelessness, immigration and workforce development, ecological sustainability. These have been called collaborative roundtables, comprehensive community initiatives and collective impact initiatives.  

The Evaluating Community Impact: Capturing and Making Sense of Community Outcomes workshop is a three-day, interactive learning event designed to increase the capacity of leaders involved in community change efforts to better understand and evaluate the outcomes of these efforts.  

This workshop is geared towards people involved in community change initiatives with an interest and some basic experience with evaluation. This Workshop is designed for those who:

Are involved in efforts to "move the needle" on homelessness, poverty, health, environmental sustainability, immigration and early child development - and other elements of a healthy community.

Provide leadership and support to evaluation efforts and want to increase their knowledge, skills and capacity.

This workshop is not for individuals with extensive evaluation experience including consultants and program evaluation professionals.
