Salary(s): PM2 $53,411.00 - $67,217.00 per year

Qualifications:
Essential
- Post secondary education in the social sciences with related work experience. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- An understanding and experience with current community development and/or neighbourhood revitalization practices.
- Experience in program development and/or applied research.
- Experience in developing and/or analyzing project proposals.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in working in a team environment, along with problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
- The ability to travel within the program delivery area.
Desired
- Experience in developing and administering project funding agreements in accordance with eligibility criteria, available budgets and need.
- Experience in review and the development of policies.
Duties:
The successful candidate will support revitalization of designated Neighbourhoods Alive! (NA!) localities including: planning and implementation of the Localized Improvement Fund for Tomorrow (LIFT) program, developing policies, overseeing evaluation projects, preparing briefing notes and submissions, and developing/researching tools and resources. Support community capacity building in the designated LIFT localities, including meeting with organizations to support planning, project development, partnership development, analysis of project proposals and supporting organizations to develop project concepts; supporting community delivered processes for revitalization to ensure a community-led process is upheld; facilitating or connecting organizations with training, and providing advice to community partners. Participate in the administration and analysis of requests as required for NA! funding programs.
