Innoweave is proud to be partnering with United Way of Burlington and Greater Hamilton Area to offer a Social Enterprise workshop to this community.
Workshop for Non-Profit Organizations
In this free workshop, organizations will learn more about what a social enterprise is, and think through the first few steps of how to start their own social enterprise. If you are thinking about starting up a social enterprise, click here to take our Social Enterprise Self-Assessment to see if the timing and context is right for you. Once you have completed your self assessment, visit www.innoweave.myreviewroom.comto fill out a workshop application form. (Note that the self-assessment is required as part of the application process). Make sure to select "Workshop: Social Enterprise" from the drop down list to proceed to the application for this particular workshop.
Innoweave workshops are intended for leadership teams of organizations - organizations should send 2-4 people to this workshop in order to make the best use of group activity time.

Facilitator Training
In conjunction with this workshop, Innoweave will also be running a facilitator training session for those interested in facilitating future Innoweave Social Enterprise workshops in their communities or within their networks. Those with some expertise in social enterpise are invited to take part in this facilitator training and make use of our open-access workshop curriculum. The facilitator training involves:
- A 3-hour orientation/training on Monday, April 15th from 2pm to 5pm @ UWGBH, 177 Rebecca St, Hamilton
- Observation of an Innoweave Social Enterprise Workshop on Tuesday, April 16th from 9am to 3pm @ Hamilton Spectator Auditorium, 44 Frid St, Hamilton
- A post-workshop de-brief session on Tuesday, April 16th from 3:30pm to 5pm@ Hamilton Spectator Auditorium, 44 Frid St, Hamilton
