Our client, the Thunder Bay Community Economic Development Commission (CEDC) is seeking a highly qualified Chief Executive Officer to lead a dynamic organization, enthusiastically supported by industry, government and the Thunder Bay community.
Reporting directly to an independent Board and arms-length to the municipal government, you will lead the business development and support initiatives of the organization to achieve its vision and long-term goals.
You will continue to build a high performance organization and an environment conducive to innovation and timely execution of defined priorities. Your successful track record of building business and communities is supported by a post secondary degree in business, marketing or a related discipline and complemented with seven to ten years senior business leadership experience. Together with an in-depth knowledge of what attracts business and development, you bring a practical understanding of how to establish results-oriented, committed and cohesive teams. Above all you have the ability to develop credibility, trust and partnerships with the business community, community groups and all levels of government and the desire and passion to implement initiatives and activities that will promote and develop the community of Thunder Bay.
