We are looking for a dynamic and committed individual who is passionate about children’s educational programming and career development.
We are a not-for-profit organization that helps young people discover the importance of post-‐ secondary education by providing hands-on career oriented programming at post‐secondary institutions across Manitoba.
The Phase 1 Program is a career exploration program specifically tailored to children and youth. 240 students from Winnipeg and surrounding communities visit the University of Manitoba, The University of Winnipeg, and Red River College 20 Saturdays from October to May, where they get the chance to explore 80 career paths.
The Program Assistant is responsible for aiding in the day-‐to-‐day development, implementation, and operation of the Phase 1 Program. The Program Assistant works closely with the Program Manager to ensure the necessary infrastructure is in place to run the program efficiently.
The Program Assistant is an organized and positive role model with excellent communication and listening skills and the ability to work independently and with a team.
This is a half-time position that is ideal for a post-secondary student.
