The Brandon Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation (BNRC) is a not-for-profit organization which is dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents in Brandon’s core residential neighbourhoods. The position of Energy Efficiency Coordinator will be a full-time position to coordinate and administer the targeted delivery of energy efficiency renovations throughout Brandon’s core residential neighbourhoods.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
- Canvas Brandon neighbourhoods to promote programs to homeowners, landlords and tenants in Brandon's core residential neighbourhoods
- Organize and conduct presentations at promotional events and information sessions
- Assist clients in filling out forms and applications
- Coordinate energy efficiency renovations with contractors and clients
- Liaise with project partners to ensure proper documentation and project reports are submitted in a timely manner.
- Administer budgeting, invoicing, and financial tracking
Qualifications:
- Related post-secondary education or equivalent experience in Community Development
- Skilled Salesperson (experience an asset)
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi task
- Familiarity with Brandon’s core residential neighbourhoods an asset
- Familiarity with housing resources and low income programs an asset
- Understanding of home repair issues an asset
Terms of Reference:
Salary commensurate with education/experience
Must have access to own transportation; job related mileage will be covered
