Title: Community social development officer (Community Development Coordinator)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Evening

Salary: $14.00 to $25.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Mileage Paid

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Campbellton, New Brunswick (2 vacancies )

Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Some university

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Languages: Speak English, Speak French, Read English, Read French, Write English, Write French

Work Setting: Community organization, Non-governmental organization

Area of Specialization: Employment equity and affirmative action, Employment or human resources services, Immigration, Multiculturalism or race relations

Specific Skills: Plan and co-ordinate social services, Conduct demographic, social and economic analyses, Conduct research, Counsel individuals on daily-life issues, Plan, organize and administer foreign aid and international development policies and programs, Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops or symposia, Provide consulting services to government and other organizations

Additional Skills: Supervise professional and support staff and students, Provide staff training, Perform administrative tasks, Use computer applications

Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Confidential security clearance, Driver's validity licence check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Fast-paced environment

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Willing to travel regularly

Ability to Supervise: 3-4 people

Other Languages: Mandarin, Punjabi
