Young Entrepreneurs is an intensive 12-week course that introduces Winnipeg’s Aboriginal youth to the business world. Upon completion of the program students will have the basic knowledge of what it takes to run and own a business from an Indigenous perspective. Classes will lead up to a final ‘Dragons Den’ style pitch and the participant with the best pitch, business plan, and business idea will be chosen to attend the Reservation Economic Summit in Las Vegas, Nevada (all expenses paid). Once in Las Vegas the winner will have the opportunity to participate in NCAIED’s business plan competition.

The grand prize is $20,000 to help with the start up costs relating to their business. All classes are hosted by Wab Kinew, Director of Indigenous Inclusion at The University of Winnipeg.

Open to Aboriginal youth in Winnipeg between the ages of 15-24!
