Dr. Bruno Dyck
is a professor at the Asper School of Business. He will describe the larger context and characteristics of sustainable organizations with his presentation titled “Context and hallmarks of sustainable organization: recent research.” With over 20 years of research experience in sustainability, Dr. Dyck teaches the course “Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility.”
Ken Berg
is the Winnipeg store manager for Mountain Equipment Co-op. Mr. Berg will share how sustainability is seamlessly integrated into MEC’s business. He will also discuss how MEC became a leader in both sustainability and in the outdoor equipment retail industry. The co-op believes that sustainability is not just an ethical consideration but also a smarter way to do business.
