Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director has the mandate to ensure direction and management for ExpansionDieppe as established by the Board of Directors. The incumbent will work in collaboration with the City of Dieppe to carry out approved strategies and priorities for a sustained economic development. He (she) will be responsible to achieve its strategic priorities through the development/delivery of programs, staff leadership and establishing a good working relationship and collaborative agreement with private, public and parapublic sector groups for the purpose of attaining ExpansionDieppe’s objectives.
The successful applicant will be a proven leader in economic development with highly collaborative and communicative skills in both official languages (spoken and written). The applicant will also be known as a strategic thinker, innovative leader and team player with a keen business sense; comfortable with managing projects, human and financial resources.
The ideal candidate will possess ten (10) years of experience in economic development or any equivalent combination of education and experience and will have a postgraduate degree in accounting, finance, business administration, engineering, planning or public administration or related field.
