We are seeking a Database Analyst/Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will design, implement, analyze, and maintain moderately complex databases. You will analyze needs, and will design, write, and test new programs and applications.

Specifically, you will:

• Work collaboratively with all areas of the organization with respect to providing data analysis and information to support organizational initiatives to include:
  • perform data extractions and analysis
  • program reports to users specifications
  • manage integrity of Customer Relationship Management system (CRM)
  • administer CRM tools
• Install and upgrade the database server and application tools
• Allocate system storage and plan future storage requirements for the database system
• Modify the database structure, as necessary, from information given by CRM vendor
• Monitor and optimize the performance of the database
• Plan for and execute backup and recovery of database information
• Maintain archived data
• Contact database vendor for technical support
• Provide after hours and weekend system support on a rotational basis

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications or an equivalent combination of education and related experience:

• A relevant post-secondary degree and/or 3 to 5 years related experience as a Database Analyst/Programmer
• Demonstrated experience with languages such as SQL, Java, HTML, Javascript and/or Visual Basic AND Microsoft SQL Report Services
• Demonstrated database experience with MS SQL Server and MS Access
• Strong project management skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to organize and implement plans and meet deadlines
