Today's young people are known by several different titles: Generation Y, the Millenials, the Digital Natives, etc. Whatever we call them, these volunteers may be young in age but they are wise in ideas, solutions and energy.
Volunteer managers and administrators aren’t the only ones who work with young people, fostering the next generation of volunteers. There are many other reasons why it is important to engage youth in your organization.
For example, if your organization serves young people (either as your mandate or through a program area) it lends credibility to your activities if there is youth involvement.
This workshop is designed to help you tap into the energy and enthusiasm of the smart, savvy and digitally-sophisticated 15-30 demographic.
