FOSP is seeking a summer camp coordinator to oversee 6 weeks of aquatics programming in partnership with other youth agencies in the area.

Duties

• Coordinating FOSP summer camp partnerships, including planning camp activities and liaising with youth agencies and summer programs in the neighbourhood to ensure that youth in the inner city of Winnipeg have fun and educational aquatic experiences. 
• Creating a schedule of aquatic activities for youth agencies
• Prepare a report on summer activities for the FOSP Board

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating swimming and other children and youth swimming/recreation programs.
• Experience working with diverse groups of people
• Excellent communications and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other staff/partners
• Life Saving Certificate, child abuse registry check, and First Aid certification an asset.
• Applicants must be aged 15 – 29, as this is a Green Team funded position

Hours and Pay

25 -30 hours per week – 11 weeks (June 8 – August 21, 2015)

$10.70 per hour
