The Saint John Community Loan Fund is an enterprising community based organization that helps people and organizations create income, build assets and attain greater self-reliance. We do this using financing, training, coaching and even mission based real estate development.
Speaking of which, we are currently building the Social Enterprise Hub, a 15,000 square foot building which will bring together enterprising non-profits, micro-enterprises, and social enterprises to scale impact in our neighbourhood, in our city of Saint John and in our region. The Job
Put in place the necessary processes and physical elements that will create a collaborative culture in the Social Enterprise Hub. Working with the tenants you will lead and/or be involved with:
- Tenant recruitment, orientation, and lease agreements
- Space design and trouble shooting
- Identifying a meeting rooms’ management program
- Ongoing activities that build opportunities for collaboration
- Designing and promoting collective purchasing opportunities
- Insuring that the social enterprise mission is implanted throughout
- Investigating smart cards for directing purchasing at café
