The Natural Resources Institute (NRI), University of Manitoba, Canadian Association for Bangladesh Development (CABD), and Comheart.com (RS-MEDCOM Group), are cordially inviting you to participate in the “Symposium on Resilience and Capacity Enhancement” to be held on March 25, 2017 (Saturday) from 10:30 am – 5:00 pm at the Carol Shields Auditorium- Millenium Library, Winnipeg. The primary objective of this symposium is to disseminate research results from the SSHRC (Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, Canada)-funded research project on “Understanding Community Resilience to Natural Disaster to Enhance their Adaptive Capacity” among Winnipeg communities and establish a dialogue with the indigenous communities on enhancing community resilience and capacity building.
