Duties:
Reporting to the Chair of Aboriginal Education and ACCESS Programs, the instructor is required to teach a variety of courses within the Social Enterprise Program. The successful candidate will be part of the instructional team and will be expected to perform all the duties related to instructing including: preparing course outlines, maintaining student records, student evaluation, assist in college activities including student orientation, graduation and relevant committees. The successful candidate will think creatively and have a demonstrated history of leading business and/or social innovation
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Business or Adult Education. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Significant experience in leadership, marketing, financial math and budgets
- Experience in business planning and business start-up
- Experience in project management, and community engagement
- Experience with social justice, conflict resolution and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated experience using computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
- Experience teaching adults
- Excellent presentation skills
- Effective organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in group settings
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Commitment to lifelong learning
Assets:
- Experience in curriculum development
- Completion of the CAE program or current enrolment
- Positive experiences and/or connections and relationships with Manitoba's Indigenous communities

Salary Range: $57,723 - $85,733 per annum*
*The successful candidate with a Masters or PhD in a related field will receive an Educational Supplement of $2,725 or $5,450 per annum, respectively, pro-rated on an hourly basis.
