The Groundswell programs, condensed into 1 day!

Groundswell is an alternative business school for aspiring social entrepreneurs. During the program journey, participants reconnect with themselves and tap into the best they have to offer the world, turning their skills and aspirations into fulfilling, thriving livelihoods. They learn in tight knit cohorts of creative folks, collaboratively building small businesses and social ventures of their own.

Register for Groundswell in a Day

Groundswell's suite of programs run from 1 to 5 months in length, but this year we are happy to introduce the first-ever ‘Groundswell in a Day’. Here, the most essential parts of the programs will be distilled into an unforgettable one-day Groundswell experience.

In this day, you will:

• Explore your inner entrepreneur and fire up your confidence.
• Learn and apply lean startup tools and techniques to test your ideas and help make them happen in the real world.
• Unpeel your aspirations to the core and discover a widely applicable marketing ethos that connects the people you want to your idea and doesn’t feel used car salesman-esque!
• Connect with Groundswell alumni who have changed their life by finding and training their entrepreneurial muscle (and strengthen your own - literally and figuratively!).
• Start relationships with likeminded people over a shared potluck lunch.
• Meet 2018-19 Groundswell program participants and determine if it might be a good fit for you too!

Are you an aspiring social entrepreneur who wants to find your role in making the world a better place? This one-day Groundswell experience will kick off your journey.

Bring with you:

• A printed (hard copy!) photo of yourselves when you were a little kid or toddler.
• A dish to share for the community potluck lunch.
• A notebook and pen.
• Comfortable clothing you can move around in.
• Open ears, eyes, heart, and a willingness to jump into something new!
