Evaluation Coordinator

You are here

YAA is a network of 15 youth-serving agencies in Winnipeg which aims to strengthen and enhance the capacity of its member agencies. Our capacity-building efforts focus on three core areas including youth programs and engagement, member learning and development, and research and advocacy. As a collaborative network, YAA provides a unique opportunity to regularly engage with and learn from a wide variety of youth-serving organizations and community stakeholders.

Position Overview:

Youth Agencies Alliance (YAA) is looking for a motivated and community-minded Evaluation Coordinator to lead the network through the second phase of its Evaluation and Impact Measurement (EIM) pilot project from 2019 to 2022. This pilot project is three-pronged in its scope and involves the annual implementation of both the Youth Program Quality Intervention (YPQI) and collective measurement strategy as well as the ongoing evolution and execution of the collective impact initiative.

As the Evaluation Coordinator you will be helping YAA to realize its mission through the YPQI by providing targeted support for its members to provide consistent, high quality programming aligned with best practice standards; through the collective measurement strategy by enhancing members’ internal data collection mechanisms in order to gather critical information about the youth-serving sector; and finally through the collective impact initiative by facilitating cross-sector collaboration to create change on a common issue youth in the community are facing.

The Evaluation Coordinator is not acting alone in these efforts. The Coordinator reports directly to, receives direction from and collaborates with the YAA Director, EIM Management Committee and Collective Impact Steering Committee. Additionally, this position is accountable to and reports semi-annually to the YAA Leadership Committee and project funders.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about community development, value continuous learning and have demonstrated project management skills that together will support the achievement of the goals of this project.
