Junior Facilitator Money Stories Program Term Position – 8 weeks

SEED is hiring four enthusiastic youth (15–30 years of age) to fill Junior Facilitator training positions in the Money Stories Program. The Money Stories Program delivers money management training that incorporates traditional Indigenous teachings and cultural values. Junior Facilitators will work collaboratively to facilitate Money Stories classes under the supervision of senior Money Stories staff with additional guidance of community Elders. Junior Facilitators will participate in leadership and facilitator trainings, revise and develop learning activities and support the program as needed. This position offers a minimum of 16 hours per week, up to a maximum of 40 hours per week.
Successful candidates must:
- Have graduated from SEED’s Saving Circle program or Money Stories program
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Be a quick learner who is highly motivated to work with youth
- Have strong conflict resolution skills and be a demonstrated team player
- Be reliable and punctual • Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently
The ability to work remotely is an asset but is not required.
