The Co-operative Enterprise Council of New Brunswick is a leading community economic development agency in the Maritimes with a mandate to help build healthy, inclusive communities and strong local economies through co-operative and social enterprise development.

The GIS Analyst will work on two projects: Mawi’Art Wabanki Artist Collective to help create a virtual studio tour of Indigenous artists in NB.  This includes collecting contact information for, and mapping the locations of, Indigenous artists in NB by medium and the creation of a virtual Story Map by geographic region and type of products available.  The GIS Analyst will also collaborate on the creation of a series of video vignettes of artists that will be linked to the Story Map.  The second project is with the Canaan-Washademoak Watershed Association and the GIS Analyst will assist with digitizing land use/land cover in the 2160 sq km watershed and to integrate 30 years’ worth of water quality and fish population data, and various other data sets, into a Story Map environment. Excellent verbal and written English skills are a requirement, bilingualism is an asset. Compensation: 
35 hours per week at $20 - 23/hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications
