The Uniterra Program supports the national poverty reduction strategies of the following 13 countries: Bolivia, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Guatemala, Guinea, Malawi, Mali, Nepal, Niger, Senegal, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. The Program puts great emphasis on partnerships between organizations and networking. Its objective is to strengthen the capacities of its partners active in poverty reduction.
Under the line responsibility of the Coordinator of the Programming and Partnership Unit and in close collaboration with the regional directors, the Sectoral Program Officer is in charge of providing follow-up and support to field programming and of developing/consolidating partnerships and networks in one or two sectors of concentration; he or she also contributes to the implementation of sectoral programming.
