The Aboriginal Partnership Committee is inviting you to a workshop to learn about a tool that can assist your organization with community planning, program planning, and program evaluation, as there is an increasing emphasis for non-profit organizations to report on the results they are achieving, and to work in partnership.

Eko Nomos is a Canadian company that promotes innovation and excellence in community-based, social and economic development programs. Eko Nomos brings a community-based approach to all of its initiatives, ensuring the incorporation of practical social change strategies into economic development, and promoting Sustainable Livelihoods for people and their families.

Eko Nomos has combined the Sustainable Livelihoods framework with results-based management in order to provide tools for practitioners and funders to document outcomes and learning from their employment and economic development programs. Their approach is asset-oriented, encouraging organizations and individuals to build on the foundation of their existing skills, experience and resources to support the creation of Sustainable Livelihoods.

Mary Ferguson from Eko Nomos will be the resource person for this workshop.

Non-profit Aboriginal-serving organizations in Winnipeg are invited to send a maximum of two representatives to the workshop.
