Quint is seeking mentors to facilitate the day-to-day operations of a home for single women with dependant children. Pleasant Hill Place is a transitional residence for up to 10 individuals. The objective of the initiative is to provide at risk women and their children safe and supportive housing while developing independent living skills.

Qualifications for these positions are:

§ Desire to work with and believe in the potential of youth;
§ Experience working with people from marginalized communities;
§ Knowledge of the beliefs and values of Aboriginal cultures;
§ Experience in parenting or in supporting parents;
§ Understanding of Community Economic Development Practice;
§ Awareness of community resources and how to access them;
§ Excellent leadership, supervisory, organizational and communication skills;
§ Mediation/conflict resolution and problem solving skills;
§ Valid drivers licence is an asset;
§ Social work and/or Early Childhood education would be an asset but not a prerequisite.
