Program Manager (Two year term with possibility of extension)Anticipated start date: January 5, 2009) The Program Manager will oversee the delivery of the Stages of Change Work Readiness Assessment and Development for Persons with Disabilities Project. Responsibilities will include personnel management, participant recruitment, project promotion, report writing, and financial management. The program manager will coordinate the activities of the project to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of services delivered to project participants and the achievement of measurable outcomes.
Qualifications
Applicants must have demonstrated team leadership skills, experience in human resource management, and above average interpersonal skills. Project management experience in a social service field would be considered an asset. In addition, applicants must have demonstrated financial management skills and superior networking abilities. Knowledge of the Stages of Change and Motivational Interviewing is desired. Experience in the employment development field or in case management for persons with a disability would be an asset. Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent in experience is required.
