The Shannon School of Business at CBU delivers several diploma and degree programs, including the Master of Business Administration in Community Economic Development (MBA in CED) program. The School is accepting applications from qualified candidates to fill a term contract position in CED to commence August 2009 and end May 2010.

Duties include teaching and developing courses in areas such as community economic development, comparative development, and research methods. Candidates should have a PhD and excellent communication skills. The School is seeking a collaborative individual who has the potential to perform sponsored research, enrich teaching, and contribute actively to the life of the school community. Candidates with experience teaching MBA students and experience supervising MBA student research projects are preferred.

Applicants are expected to demonstrate potential and commitment with regard to teaching, research/creative/scholarly activities and service to Cape Breton University, community and profession.

The union affiliation of this position is with the Cape Breton University Faculty Association.
