The Community Education Development Association (CEDA) requires a Program Director to lead an innovative initiative that seeks to enhance high school graduation success for youth in the North End of Winnipeg.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to a comprehensive community engagement process to hear from students, parents, educators and community groups about the challenges facing youth in completing high school.
- Program planning, development and implementation of a stay in school initiative that provides social, academic, financial and advocacy supports for youth and families involved in the program.
- Human resource and financial management.
- Resource development.
- Liaison with local education system.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience and education in:
- community development
- inner city education and youth programming
- action research
- program planning and development
- management administration
- cultural competency
