Supporting Employment and Economic Development Winnipeg Inc. (SEED) is a Community Economic Development organization with a focus on the inner city of Winnipeg and marginalized groups. We are seeking a part-time individual (24 hours per week) to facilitate training in money management and business development for Aboriginal participants in SEED programs.

This person will also be responsible for the development of culturally-relevant curriculum for Aboriginal clients. Duties include: marketing of program services, training facilitation, curriculum development, assistance in proposal writing, report writing, and assistance with the evaluation and enhancement of existing programs.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a strong background in training and facilitation, a sound understanding of money management/financial literacy, business principles, curriculum development, and experience working with diverse client groups, particularly Aboriginal and youth. Small business management experience with the ability to work as part of a team in a non-profit environment is preferred. Proficiency with MS Office 2007 is essential. Preference will be given to Aboriginal candidates. Applicants are encouraged to self-identify.

Compensation: 
Salary range starts at $36,414 (pro-rated), depending on qualifications.
