The Straits-St. Barbe Chronic Care Corp. in partnership with Human Resources and Skills Development Canada as part of the CED Work Experience Program, CreateAction. The 6-month program is designed to assist post-graduate youth make the transition into the world of work.

We are seeking a post-secondary college or university graduate, who is between the ages of 15 and 30; not presently receiving Employment Insurance Benefits and is under-employed or unemployed. For additional criteria, please contact the undersigned.

Responsibilities:

1. Gather information and provide a detailed report to the Board regarding Affordable Housing and Assisted Living requirements/funding available in the area from Castor River South to Eddies Cove East.
2. Gather information and provide a detailed report to the Board regarding the feasibility of a Home Care Agency in the area from Castor River South to Eddies Cove East.
3. Promote Social Entrepreneurship /Memorial/Community Garden; creating a green space for residents/community.
