You are here

Futures in Newfoundland and Labrador’s youth (FINALY!) is a provincial, dynamic and youth-driven organization that empowers youth to be active participants in decision making and implementation within their communities and the province. It is our goal, through youth development and an involvement in social and economic issues, to provide an opportunity for youth to build a viable future in Newfoundland and Labrador. In partnership with the Canadian CED Network through the CreateAction program, FINALY! will launch a provincial project on creating positive environmental impacts within our communities and our province.

The Intern/Project Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, supervision, facilitation and evaluation of four (4) workshops with FINALY! members throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. During these workshops, the Intern/Project Coordinator will facilitate focus groups with participants regarding their activities and behaviours that create positive environmental impacts on their communities. The Intern/Project Coordinator will be responsible for planning an event directly based on workshop results after they are complete as well as a final written report.
