United Way of Winnipeg is very pleased to host this workshop with the Insurance and Liability Resource Centre for Non Profits (Imagine Canada). United Way and the Centre believe in managing risk with confidence; that most risk is necessary, but can be approached smartly. We see risk management as organized common sense.
The Centre has done over 180 events with nearly 7,000 Canadian nonprofit leaders in 60 cities and towns across Canada. These workshops have met with rave reviews across the country. This is a ‘not to be missed’ learning opportunity.
This is a general workshop for all charities and nonprofits. Each participant will receive a sixty-page resource package.

Workshop Facilitator - David Hartley
Director of Imagine Canada's Insurance and Liability Resource Centre for Nonprofits
David Hartley is the Director of Imagine Canada's Insurance & Liability Resource Centre for Nonprofits. Previously a licensed insurance broker, in 1998 David began a career training insurance professionals, eventually for 3 Canadian insurers, until he joined Imagine Canada with the opening of this Centre, summer 2007. We have now done over 180 events with nearly 7,000 Canadian nonprofit leaders in 60 cities and towns across Canada. These workshops have met with rave reviews. His presentation style is described as "fresh, informative and very engaging".
