The West Broadway Community Organization (WBCO) is a not-for-profit, charitable organization that coordinates revitalization efforts in the West Broadway neighbourhood. WBCO works with local residents, businesses, and other stakeholders to meet social and economic development goals, as prioritized through regular, intensive consultation efforts.  WBCO has partnered with the West Broadway Business Improvement Zone in the delivery of the following program:

Wahkohtowin is a family based outreach program that engages youth between the ages of 11-17, and their families, who are facing systemic challenges and barriers.  The program focuses on strengthening family bonds and promoting positive communication and the ability to jointly solve problems.

Spence Neighbourhood Association is seeking a Community Liaison/Communications Coordinator. This is a full time position. The Community Liaison will be responsible for day-to-day communication with the Spence community, City of Winnipeg and other partners and stakeholders. The Community Liaison works closely with the Executive Director as well as the Director of Youth and Families, and other staff at the Magnus Eliason Recreation Centre. We are seeking an individual with the ability and skills to update the website and layout/publish monthly newsletter.
