Online consultation on social enterprise in Ontario from Mowat NFP

Mowat NFP, the research hub on the not-for-profit sector at the Mowat Centre, invites you to participate in an interactive webinar to consult the not-for-profit sector on opportunities for social enterprise in Ontario today.

Social enterprise and the tools and enabling environment that are needed to support the sector's growth and resilience in Ontario have been the subject of extensive research and analysis.  In fact, there is an abundance of ideas and possibilities for advancing work in this space.

With support from The Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Employment, Mowat NFP is consulting with the sector to identify the key priorities for social enterprise and how the provincial government can be a stronger partner.  The consultation will explore the following three questions:

  • What would a successful social enterprise ecosystem look like in Ontario?
  • What will it take to get there?
  • How will it happen?

This session is the second in a three-part consultative process. Results of the process will be developed into a Mowat NFP Sector Signal that will be released in June 2013.

The webinar will be held on May 22, 2013 from 12pm to 1:30pm. This is a free webinar.
