JOB SUMMARY

Ometz Mental Health Support Services assists adults living with severe mental illness in achieving their personal recovery goals by reducing their isolation, promoting autonomy and equipping them with necessary life and coping skills.  The Case Manager III – Mental Health Support Services provides clinical psychosocial synthesis and support, complex crisis intervention, as well as assisting with advocacy, independent living skills and connections to the public sector and community network.

About the Position

This position offers a firsthand experience in small-scale farm management and is primarily geared towards young people with strong background in organic agriculture who are interested in learning more about the management aspects of running a small farm. The apprentice will have the opportunity to manage crops, lead teams of volunteers and interns, and deepen their understanding of the relationship between urban and rural food systems, all within a mentorship framework.

Location: Mangua, Nicaragua
