Every year, CCEDNet members are invited to submit nominations for CCEDNet's Board of Directors. This year, there were four vacancies to be filled. 

Four eligible nominations were received by the deadline, leading our Elections Officer to declare the following candidates elected by acclamation:

Elections are a time when advocates take the stage to promote public and political education on the policy we work on all year round. It can be difficult to cut through competing interests and raise the profile of comprehensive issues that take more than a sound bite or a debate to describe and understand.

The Canadian CED Network's Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held online on June 9th, 2016, at 1pm ET (2:30 NL, 2pm Atlantic, 1pm Eastern, 12pm Central, 11am Mountain, 10am Pacific) for one hour. 

At their last meeting, CCEDNet's Board of Directors endorsed the Our Power campaign, supporting community-based approaches to renewable energy.
