First and foremost, Deep Democracy is practical and easy to use. The idea is not to absorb a ton of information in two days and then go out and try to apply it in your organization.
Instead, you will begin practicing the principles of this collaborative decision-making process starting in the first 60 minutes of the training. Instead of the trainers presenting us with our curriculum, we use the process to collectively decide the agenda and learning for the two day course. As a group, participants decide what combination of theory and practicum will comprise the curriculum.
