The Measure-up workshop is intended to being developing a measurement that accurately reflects the reality of poverty in Manitoba. This day-long workshop will involve representatives from the community in determining what indicators and concepts should be included in the development of an accurate poverty measure.
Richard Shillington will be the keynote speaker for the workshop. Along with his extensive work experience in government, private and non-profit secotrs, Mr. Shillington has degrees in statistics and for 30 years has conducted research on health, social and economic policy.
