Senator Art Eggleton has served the citizens in public office for over 37 years. He has been a City of Toronto Councillor, Mayor of Toronto, Member of Parliament representing York Centre and most recently as Senator. Senator Eggleton is co-chair of the recently formed Federal All Party Anti-Poverty Caucus. Senator Eggleton has been a strong advocate for reducing poverty and moving Canada towards a shared prosperity.
