The Fresh Outlook Foundation is hosting its 4th annual REEL CHANGE SustainAbility Film Fest throughout the Central Okanagan during the month of November. The festival features 20 award-winning documentaries at 15 locations. Admission is free, but donations to the foundation would be greatly appreciated. Films focus on a wide range of community sustainability topics; each will be followed by a panel discussion led by local topic experts.

The films (and their topics) include:

  • Battle for Brooklyn (communities having say)
  • Cafeteria Man (school health/nutrition reform)
  • Carbon Nation (energy efficiency / renewable energy)
  • HomeSafe Calgary (homeless families/children)
  • On the Line (Enbridge Pipeline)
  • People of a Feather (climate change and the Inuit)
  • Surviving Progress (pros/cons of human advancement)
  • Switch (energy solutions)
  • Urban Roots (urban farming)
  • Urbanized (urban/community design)
