Mind mapping is a creative visual thinking tool. It is a graphical way to represent ideasand concepts.  Its power is in its simplicity. Mind mapping will help you unlock mental roadblocks that inhibit creative and innovative ideas.

Mind maps can be used for such things as:

  • Brainstorming (individually or in groups)
  • Business Planning
  • Problem Solving
  • Jogging your creativity
  • Presenting ideas to clients
  • Planning your weekly tasks and projects for your business
  • A creative collaborative approach to developing a statement of work

Workshop Objectives

 

To provide an introduction to mind mapping and how it can be used in our day to day lives for both business and personal purposes.

 

Participants will have the opportunity to create a mind map during the workshop and receive valuable tips and tricks from this experienced presenter.

Our Guest Speaker: Robert Abbott

 

Robert is an experienced enterprise Senior Project Manager with over 30 years of Information and Technology experience within the telecommunications industry. 


He has  designed and delivered various types of corporate training to more than 2500 managers on enterprise project tools, processes and techniques.


Robert currently teaches at the School of Continuing Studies at McGill University.
