About ACI

ACI Manitoba aims to establish a formal network to support the professional development of artists and community based organizations who deliver art activities to share best practices, research and resources. Both artists and community benefit when engaged in arts-based community development. Artistic activity can be stimulated through artist residencies and studios which are often established when artists work within communities. Through working with artists, community organizations can build community capacity, energize community-based revitalization efforts, improve public spaces and invigorate local economies.
