Celebrating 6 years as Manitoba's premiere food security event, the Growing Local conference will once again bring together consumers, farmers, traditional harvesters and everyone in between, for 2 inspired days of learning and sharing. This year's conference is again being held at the Marlborough Hotel in Winnipeg from March 1-2 and offers a great lineup of over 30 workshops, networking opportunities and displays.

Friday, March 1
The Youth Gathering being held at the 2013 “Growing Local” conference is aimed at educating and engaging youth around issues of local food and food security. Youth will be involved in hands-on workshops and activities and will be learning about food related youth initiatives going on around the province.
