Join enpBC and NetImpact for a Live Case Study:
The Beaumont Studios

Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM.

Event participants will learn about a business challenge being faced by the profiled organization, as presented by the Founder or Executive Director. You will then be asked to provide your ideas and recommendations for addressing this challenge.

This event features The Beaumont Studios - an arts community based in a unique space on the edge of Mount Pleasant. The building houses 16 shared artist studios, an art gallery and a multi-purpose event hosting space. Over 45 artists practice their art in our studios as well as a number of instructors that host weekly classes and workshops, and each month the Beaumont Gallery hosts art exhibitions featuring artists from our community and abroad.

Charmaine Carpenter. Jude Kusnierz and Ryan Spong from the Beaumont Studios will present their business challenge as a social enterprise.

To kick things off, we will have a panel consisting of:

- David LePage, Program Manager, enterprising non-profits (ENP)

- Jennifer Johnstone, President & CEO Central City Foundation, previous ED of Ballet BC

- David Duprey, Founder/owner of the Rickshaw Theatre, Narrow Lounge, Rumpus Room

- Martha Rans, non-profit lawyer, Co-founder of Artists' Legal Outreach

We then turn things over to you in a fast-paced, facilitated session to get your input, ideas and recommendations for the Beaumont Studios team!

Doors open at 5:30pm. The event begins promptly at 6pm and ends at 7:30pm.

Refreshments and snacks will be provided.
